Retro Tower Defense Tower Paths: XP and Mission Costs

Tower paths is a feature in rtd thats lets you pick one tower at a time to get, is split into 2 those being XP path and mission paths, xp paths can be done by getting xp with the pack activated while mission paths can be done by doing daily missions ]]

Each path has three variants — three progressively better tiers of the same tower — and the cost escalates sharply between them. Read the third column before you commit: iTrapped's third variant costs 50,000 XP, more than three times Disaster Dude's entire path.

Which path to run first

If you are picking on cost alone, Disaster Dude is the cheapest complete XP path in the game and it lands a heroic that reaches 150 DPS — one of the best returns on a path anywhere. Snowman and Headless Horseman are the next cheapest. Gauntlet costs the most XP of the six but pays out the highest published damage of any tower at 266.67 DPS, so it is the one to save for.

The nine Gacha Heroes have no path at all — summoning is the only route, which is exactly why they behave differently in trades.
